Namely, the Beatles.
And seeing as I'm currently staying on campus alone for the holidays, this is an interesting time to be listening to songs like Strawberry Fields Forever, Yellow Submarine, and I Am the Walrus. It's beginning to do strange things to me.

My Rocky Racoon is lookin' an awful lot like a panda bear, but I never said I could draw.
I have another shift today at the bookstore, so I'll be picking up one of the CD's I saw on the movie counter this morning. They must have just come in, and since Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (say it three times fast--see! You can't either!) suddenly disappeared, it's now a choice between Beatles 1 and Abbey Road. I'm thinking I'm leaning more towards Beatles 1. If I'm going to pay more than 15 dollars for a CD, it needs to be loaded with tracks. Fortunately with the Beatles, this is usually the case anyway.
The Beatles has been the perfect background music for my life. I've listened to it at work, while writing, reading scriptures, in the shower, sleeping, just about everything a person can do. I planned on going to the Tanner Building to do much of what I've been doing (constructive nothing), but I saw some men bringing in wood and power saws, so I think it's safe to put THAT off for another day. Instead, I guess I'll just sit here in my yellow submarine with the beta fish I'm fish-sitting. I've taken to calling him the Blue Meany because he's always puffed up like he wants to fight.
I gotta head out for my shift now. I'll try and give you something of gospel relevance soon.
Until then ;)
UPDATE: Can you believe it? By the time I got to work (I was only gone 3 hours), Beatles 1 was gone. As such, I'm the proud new owner of Abbey Road. I don't regret it either.
However, I'm thinking I should probably start reading scriptures now. Judging by my latest creation, I'll let you be the judge.

I hope you have somewhere other than campus for the actual holidays. You'd be more than welcome here...we'd even allow the Beatles!
Thank you so much :) However, I do have plans to stay with a member of my bishopric for Christmas eve and day.
It's so nice to see that hospitality abounds in Utah at every turn though. Yay Utah!
We'd allow the Beatles; we just wouldn't enjoy them. *grin*
Fine. More for me :D
i loved the beatles way back when and I continue to love them today and am amused that they continue to be popular with the younger crowd - jogging with the beatles blaring through my i-pod is how I begin most of my days
